Email Marketing Producer

We are looking for an Email Marketing Producer to lead the implementation efforts for high- volume outbound email campaigns. The Email Marketing Producer is responsible for project management and deployment of client email campaigns. This includes managing timelines and resources, working with third-party technical partners, developing queries, testing for functional and rendering quality, executing the test send, managing the client approval process, preparing the subscriber list and scheduling the deployment in ESP applications.

Responsibilities

  • Overall project management experience with managing to a schedule and able to juggle numerous timelines

  • Collaborate with the internal team to create and deploy campaigns

  • Review weekly reporting and collaborate with team on insights

  • Contribute insights and collaborate on client strategic goals

  • Ensure regularly-scheduled sends are completed in accordance with client deadlines

  • Manage stakeholder assets with production

  • Perform campaign-specific quality assurance testing to validate functional and rendering performance.

  • Manage revision and approval process through the deployment of test sends

  • Manage subscriber data, import and segmentation using a combination of tools and database queries.

  • Schedule deployment in application and monitor the campaign post-deployment

  • Configuration of email series for automation

  • Review the competitive landscape and implement best practice methodologies for email and marketing automation

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Exact Target/Salesforce, Acoustic or other ESP platforms

  • Experience with A/B testing

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker

  • Email optimization experience and understanding of best practices is key

  • Knowledge of various aspects of email marketing including CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance, deliverability monitoring (Litmus, Return Path, Pivotal Veracity) and general industry trends and metrics

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on work experience managing email marketing campaigns

  • Exceptional client services and support skills

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation and initiative

  • Ability to work and collaborate virtually with other team members

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
